One of my main roles was answering guest questions regarding ingredients, allergens, and nutrition information.  I realized many people were seeking transparency with these big fast food companies. They wanted to know what was in their food, to be empowered to make an informed decision about what they put in their body.  Ironically, the people who consumed the most fast food were also the busiest, which left no time to research this information. Even with plenty of time to study the research and read medical journals, it’s still so complicated and confusing.  It shouldn’t be that way! 

 

This is why I started The Fast Food Dietitian. 

 

In my blog and newsletter, I break down complicated nutritional information into bite-sized, easy to digest (pun intended) pieces so you can be informed while on-the-go. I provide simple posts on nutrition topics, reviews on snacks and menus from popular establishments, recommendations for my favorite healthy and yummy alternatives, and quick recipes/tips to use when you’re home to help you eat better, feel better, and ultimately live better.
